I’ll miss that sweet sweet intro music. Thanks for an incredible season fellas, Landing Strip to the moon!!!
Fff offer sheet mcdavid after they lose to again this year
Thanks for the season guys. Have a great trip. Ireland sounds divine.
Glad Mikey touched on that ridiculous thing Chevy said about how trading for Toffoli meant Perffeti had to sit. Made me lose my mind.
Firstly, great season! That fan podcast has the guts to take calls and interact with the chat rather than filibuster their point is fantastic. Amazed that other more a more prominent and established sports show that shall remain nameless still doesn’t 😅 you guys are to be commended!
But to my point. Past behaviour is the best predictor of future behaviour. So I’m guessing very little if anything changes roster wise for this team anytime soon. Once Connor, Lowry sign their lifetime deals the wheels on this bus are 3 years from falling off and we’re looking at a long rebuild. Bottom line is this roster is 3rd best in the Central and their coach is the 4th best coach in the division.
As discussed they need a long term 2C. Whether it’ Lambert starting out at 4C and working his way up or a massive deal nothing goes forward until that’s fixed.

NJOY BREAK MIKEY🎉🎉
HUUUGE advocate for Colin Miller. I remember last year in the last game against the Avs he finally gets on the ice, immediately makes a CRISP breakout pass that leads to an Ehlers assist? I think. But I remember in that moment thinking "this guy needs to be in our bottom pair regularly." So insane to play Schenn with the broken rib. It's like they knew they overpaid with the 2nd and 4th and had to at least play him to justify the price. Terrible asset management yet again. "yOu'd Be HaPpY iF a SeCoNd BeCaMe LuKe ScHenN" yeah but I'd rather take that chance and acquire a cheaper PK/d-man if that's the option.
I was thinking the exact same thing about using Vilardi ina. Trade for a 2C, if there’s one out there. I love the guy, but we’d be better off using that money on a 2C and hopefully Ehlers. If they do sign him, which is more likely, I agree it’ll be 3-5 years. I’d be shocked if it’s long term.
