Getting to see Marchand interact and blend so well with the team, all I want is for Zito to find a way to sign Marchand, Bennet and Eckblad this off season. So much depth and experience and so many of the group together so long and in their prime…of he can make it happen i think we have a chance to be a modern day dynasty. Even though we may not get past the Leafs which would be shocking, i had is teanpling over them but they got a spine this year, it will be heard to crawl out of this hole. If they take Sunday game, doubts will creep into the Leafs and we will have a chance. Regardless of winning the cup this year or not, if all the pieces remain and those three get resigned, i think we could get two or even three cups in the next 5-6 years. Either way, very scared on how we did not start the game on full steam but love how we showed true character and clawed haco to win it. They can win it, just make sure to stick to Maurice and his system, play hard and grind it out one fake at a time.

Old guy here who has been rooting for the cats since ‘93. Fellow cats fans let’s remember what an amazing job Zito has done. Legendary job. What a team. What a coach. On and on. That’s why Marchy is here. We are watching great playoff hockey every year. Thank you Vinny-Bill-Paul. Thank you!!!! No matter how this year goes. Hockey is and has always been the best.

The moment it was rumoured that Marchy was on the trading block, I was posting that he would be the single best addition that many team could make. What I learned later is that he really wanted to play for Florida…loved their game and approach. Yeah, all that stuff he's been saying about the Panthers in interviews…he's not joking. That's where he wanted to be. We now learn that other teams were very interested but..he wanted FLA. And look at how he became part of the team. Perfect! He had three procedures done last off-season to extend his career and to be able to play with out pain….something he mentioned in interviews early in the season. That's why he got off to the slower start. Marchy brings the whole team vibe, makes teammates better and is there because he wants to compete with the Panthers as a Panther. You are seeing all that play out. Cheers! 🏒🥅

Chucky doesn't look like he's back to his old self so having Marchand who looks to be getting better with each game could turn out to be the surprise hero this year. Not thrilled with Seth Jones. Not sure if it's just me but he seems slow to the puck and hesitant with his stick handling when pressured. Ekman- Larson looks 10 times better than him IMO. Last night was biggest game so far…. until Sunday night.
