The biggest difference maker is, by far, going to be the coach. Berube has to keep them calm, keep them focused, and keep them motivated. If he does exactly that, and they play the way they have over the last part of the season, all will be well in Leafland.

Leafs will have players injured by game 3. They are not built for playoff hockey. That problem has never been really addressed by Treliving. Leafs are always soft in playoffs.
Here’s my thoughts on the series, I’m very scared. I don’t subscribe to the mindset and philosiphy that you regular season doesn’t matter now, its really gonna make a difference. Trust me, I want to see my team win, but I just don’t feel like trying at this point has it. With all the drama that’s happened. I’m actually gonna have to say OTT in 6. I just can’t see Toronto getting out. Hopefully I’m wrong.

BEFORE the puck drops – it is ALREADY Ottawa 2 – 0 Toronto in GAMES – Ullmark WILL win TWO games the Senators have NO right to win – imagine scores of 1 – 0 back-back – Stollarz will come up BIG up but … as usual – hard to win with NO goals – so the Leafs will then need to win 4 of 5 to take this series sad to say it won't be anywhere as easy as some predict – BET AGAINST ULLMARK AT YOUR PERIL – he WILL be the game-changer – series-changer here – IF the Leafs cannot overcome that – to date they have NEVER beaten A BONA-FIDE Goaler – aka – Rask – Swayman – Bob … ok I will give you Vasilevsky but he was OFF that series – it happens to the best of them – this series – LEAFS are HUGE underdogs already DOWN 2-0 in games they will be severely TESTED and once again display their psychologically glass-fragile selves – you read it here FIRST wankervilles

I can't separate history from logic. And not the history of the battle of Ontario, but the history of the Leafs being the team that SHOULD win a series and not doing it. I'm broken.

The very first game i took my then very toung son too, was game 2 of the last battle of ON, he got the fans hyped in the parking lot with his taunts! He doesn't remember it as i do, he was only 5, but this time around its going to be great to watch it again, albeit at home. He's experienced the fun outside but now we dont go again until round 3 and i have promised him for years we have to be down at the square when we win the cup, so hopefully this is the year, im getting a little old for street parties 😂
