  2. Lysell looks like a bust. Since the concussions unfortunately. He doesn't cut to the middle, go into the dirty areas much.

  3. I’d honestly rather see Geekie become a more proficient passer than score more goals. If he learns how to set up players other than Pasta then they’re winning more games

  4. 1:43
The type of Bruins fans that complain about Pastrnak … those fans are all ultra-casuals or trolls; end of story.
Pastrnak is unequivocally a top-ten ice hockey player in the world, and he projects to maintain that status for at least a few more years ahead.

My favorite thing to do when a “fan” complains about Pastrnak is to ask him/her to name ten more impactful and effective NHL players, right now. That “fan” then usually runs out of names after listing McDavid, MacKinnon, Draisaitl, and Matthews. After that, one could make a case for Makar, Kucherov, Eichel, or Crosby, maybe… but even if you allow for all of those “maybes”, that STILL places Pastrnak as the 9th-most impactful & effective NHL skater, right now.

Think about it. This Bruins team downright STINKS in 2024-25, both at 5v5 and on the powerplay. And despite that, Pastrnak is going to post a 40+ goals, 95+ Points season. That’s incredible.

  5. 10:24 one thing worth noting about Geekie this season… he has 23 even-strength goals. That ranks in the top 25 in the league for even-strength goals… in a season where Geekie didn’t even get top-six deployment until after the first twenty games.

Are his stats this season a bit inflated by an unusually high shooting percentage? Yes, but that doesn’t mean Geekie’s performance is all smoke-and-mirrors. He’s been legitimately good — consistently — during the last 50 games.

  6. In next pre/post-game presser, take criticism of NOT playing Lysell and Merk directly to IHC Sacco and staff. Unfortunately, seems media doesn’t ask or do follow up on this point! 👍🏻🐻

  7. My hometown Moncton just swept the first round desnoyers had 2g6a in 4 games, assisted 2 OT winners too on him causing turnovers, he reminds me a lot of Bergeron honestly he’s so smart, and he plays both sides of the puck, most lists in Canada have desnoyers 4-5th. Be cool if Boston could some how move there 2nd and 3rd maybe and get back in the first, maybe we can get reschney late in the first

  8. Conor c'mon buddy where did you seen Misa as a bumper guy like Point? He's clearly a right circle finisher like Draisaitl or Rantanen.

  9. Malfeasance on the part of management and Sacco not playing the kids while keeping stiffs like Lettieri and Brown in the lineup on a steady basis. Also keep in mind that, as an example, Wyatt Johnston and Mackie Samoskevich were the second and third players drafted after Lysell and Matthew Knies waz taken 57th overall in that draft. The entire scouting staff should be fired as well, and it's prayer time hoping they get this upcoming pick right if they're the ones directing it.

  10. Lost to the habs tonight too. Please dont bring back ANY OF THEM NEXT YEAR! Except pasta dump them all this team is a joke.
