Biggest problem with the Bruins is that Neely won't fire this idiot and the owners couldn't care less. We will be bad for a loooong time. He thinks that the best thing they got was a prospect for Coyle. He is the leading scorer in his junior league but he is 5'10 and 180 lbs. Hasn't this idiot learned from Lysell and Merkulov that undersized players dont usually make it in the NHL?

I really hope Marchand is not a rental. If he is, I hope he goes back to Boston, where he belongs, after he hoists with Cats. With cap limit rising next few years, Panthers can keep him.

I grew up in Boston, born and raised. I watched Don Sweeney when he was playing on the blue line with Ray Bourque. One of the toughest, hard nosed defenseman going. Especially considering his size. Moved to Colorado 30 years ago and I was here to watch Ray raise the Stanley Cup. His was the first number ever retired by the Avalanche. So, you'll forgive me for cutting Sweeney a very little slack here because I'm certain that he knew he would be eviscerated for sending Marchand to Florida. What really bums me out though, perhaps understandably, is that he didn't trade him to Colorado. The B's will be back. They've done it before. And we'll take care of Charlie.

As disappointing as this season has been, I'm really upset that they traded Brad Marchand. He wanted to stay, and they should have value that more. I'm done watching hockey this year.
Unfortunately, some really bad decisions in the off-season by Don Sweeney have led to this. How long is the organization going to let him keep doing this job?
