Mikael Granlund pulled off a beautiful shootout move in an Euro Hockey Tour game against Russia. The goal was also the game-winning goal.

  3. To TheoBrixtonTheKid and Superfui, the creator of the movie was neither russian or Lemieux. It was first performed by Kenta Nilsson in the world championships 1989 against USA.

  4. @Superfui I doubt any true hockey fan "forgot" that Forsberg made the move legendary. In Sweden they have a stamp with the move on it.

  5. ootin selostukselt jtn tyyliä "MIKAAAAAEEEEEEEL GRAAAAAAAANLUND ISKEEE SELLAISEN TEMPUN TÄHÄN VÄLIIN ETTÄ OKSAT POIS, HUHHUIJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

  6. @TheoBrixtonTheKid no thats wrong because a lot of people think Forsburg made that move up in 1994 lilhammer olympics. But that move was done before 1990, in year 1989 Kenta nilsson used that move against team USA. Then in 1994 Forsburg pattened it. So which came first? 1989 OR 1990. If you know your numbers then you pick Kenta Nilsson and its on youtube too.

  7. @Superfui Let's get real here. I saw this deke performed as a child in Canada in the 1970's by older kids. It's probably been around since forever. I can speculate as to why the pros didn't use it as it seems the pros didn't use a lot of moves because they were sticking with the traditional conservative moves that boring defense minded coaches pound into their brains.

  8. I'm pretty sure that this move was invented by Kent Nilsson and that it was "made famous" by Peter Forsberg

  9. @voluMzor tappa pucken is swedish for droping the puck, but they added some letters so i sounds finnish.. So you could say its like "droppi puckinen"

  10. @burago000 there are many swedish player that's better than granlund today. Sedin Twins, Bäckström, Zetterberg and more. Dont take me wrong, Granlund is a really good player.
But you finnish fans sometimes get too full of yourself.
He made one good world cup and suddenly he is the best in the world. Nah, he is not even close.
Russians got better players, Sweden do and Canada too.
    But nice try though 😀

    Have a nice day 😀

  11. no ketä kiinnostaa missä noilla mänteillä on intohimo jossai vitun karjalaturnauksessa?!?! OSTA CANAL!!!!!!!!

  12. Yeah, but you win as a TEAM, thats why we are the champions! 😀 And possibly 2012 champions too 😀 Canada out, gay swedes out! HAHAA! But I have to admit, Russia is going to be veryvery difficult, with malkin, ove, datsjuk and so on..

  13. we win as a team? i think you mean you win as a team right?
indeed, today finland are winning more games(specially important games).
We (Sweden) do have a really good team, but it really does not seem to work out very well.
Now Sweden is out of the 2012 championships so now i want Finland to win.
Today we are the better team on paper, but you are the better team on ice.
I wish you good luck this year and next time we will bring our A-game and win it all 🙂
    Have a nice day 😀

  14. MInnesota WIld fan here: PLEASE keep sending us players, Finland! Koivu, Backstrom, and Grandlund are FANTASTIC!

  15. onneks tää selostaja ei selosta maxilla enää vaan saukkonen ja mertsi on ottanu sen paikan

  16. Forsberg/Kent Nilsson deke has the body going left and one hand on the stick going right with the puck. This is the Jokinen deke, both hands on the stick and the body follows the puck.
