    Happy birthday Chris! Love the DU sweater. That's my alma mater.
    The Avs did this to Hejduk. I felt they kinda did him dirty but I guess it's business. They didn't trade him, but they said "yah okay go see what you're worth" and he had to sign at a more reasonable price when he tested the market and found it lacking. I don't know if actually trading Mikko ruined that relationship forever, but it would be cool to see it have the same outcome… he realizes he had it good here and comes back. I don't see that happening, though. I think at this point, pride will kind of force his hand to take the highest dollar.

    Mikko is gone – period. Mittelstadt staying – I hope not, one goal does not change a very disappointing season, he is no cup material, there are better 2 C out there.

    I understand Mittlestadt needs consistency, but I also think that this system is not something that works for him and the way he plays. I just don’t think the chemistry is there between him and the system

    The Devils stopped trying after Mackinnon scoring the third goal. I wouldn't put any weight in Casey's goal after that.. I would trade him if the opportunity is there

    The latest I heard about Mikko was that Carolina will keep him through the trade deadline, even if they aren't sure they can get him signed. They think he can be the piece to help them win the cup this year.

    Hope Mikko goes onto the Leafs, Stars, or Vegas and wins another cup! Yes Mitts needs to go- look at stats- plays well against 2024 Non playoff teams but when the going gets tough?
