While I want Stanley Cup really, really badly, I hope the JETS won't mortgage the long-term future for a short-term gain. I think about how renting Monahan and Tafolli went last year, and both were non-existent (along with many others) last year in the playoffs. GO JETS GO!

Some of our young drafts are maybe 4th liners trade them now before there value drops need a huge heavy talented defenseman and something big to compliment Ehlers? Only then can we compete in the playoffs?
I don’t mind trading Barlow. We gotta go all in this year.
All we need is someone solid to replace Stanley. Maybe a upgrade to 2nd line but forwards have been getting it done. Definitely don’t need any rentals in Monahan and tofolli
I don’t think Barlow is going to be worth a whole lot to other teams he’ll be a throw in if anything if we want someone big. Would still need to give a high pick and probably another prospect
Heard they might be swinging for Rantanan.
It takes time for forwards to gel. Think about the fact that the Jets lead the league in points and goals. Don’t mess with it! Just get a solid defence man for Stanley and a future pic or maybe Barlow.

Chevy hasn't failed us yet. He's tight-lipped, which is very wise of him. He always keeps aces up his sleeves, too. I'll trust him to get the best deal he can. He dumped two high prfile players at the right time and got very good retuns on them both.
My one and only want is for the jets to get parayko then you can let pionk walk and sign Ehlers
There is never going to be a time like now to go all in. Upgrade the defense, and depth forward. Scheif and Helly are getting no younger and are prime and with Ehlers uncertainty.
I dont care what they do other then get rid of stanley.
rantenen add would be HUGE – can't think of a player the jets need more to solidify this playoff roster more than a high skilled Top 6 (top 3 tbh but suspect he'd be put with Ehlers and Perfetti).

Imagine Mikko Rantanen with Ehlers and Lowry or some other big strong playmaking Center like Nelson, etc. So, Rantanen for Perfetti, Stanley, one of Barlow or Lambert or the Jets 1OA pick coming up. Carolina puts Perfetti with Jarvis and Kotkaniemi?
I wanna see Lowry back as a 2C…he and ehlers had some real magic before Lowry got hurt.
Stanley is always in the Bow Wow Hilton. Yes, he is slow. Yes, he does not always play to his size. It was not long ago it was said "The Jets have great depth at defence". Well, they trade some of those and still talk of how great Heinola is. He can never play up to Stanley's size. Faster, no doubt. Injury prone as well. A trade? Sure, it does not always work out. All in. Chevy, it is up to you. Whiteouts, check the winning % of these games. Go Jets Go!
Parayko is a highly valued part of that organization on a decent contract. I just don’t see it happening.

Why draft unless that guy you get that shore up your forward or defenceman otherwise I'd leave it alone trade Stanley for nothing a pick
If Carolina is looking to actually give away Rantanen, the Jets should be on that right away. Looking at their players and lineups; it doesn't really look to good. But if the Jets are in WIN NOW mode, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Since Rantanen's contract is also low, I would try to add another defenceman

I would also try to add Oleksiak, but that's asking too much. Heck, even asking for Rantanen is too much.
