Never underestimate the drive and determination of a Xhekaj.
Florian could that extra sandpaper the team needs. Lane Hutson can shoot 94 mph and do shootout? Maybe Lane should try the occasional point shot from the high slot to catch the opposing PK unit off guard. Lane I don't think has participated in a shootout in an NHL game yet. Slaf needs to play like he did versus Ottawa last night as much as possible…this will make him a lot stronger.
Imagine if Juraj becomes an upgraded Brady Tkachuk?
Slafkovski needs to play like this consistently and not just every once in awhile. Let’s see what happens the next few games
I love this version of Slaf. I would be his biggest fan if he did this consistently
Fired up pretty much describes the way the entire team needs to play all the time. Thanks guys.
Slav is barely 20 years old!! REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOUR EXPECTATIONS ARE FCKNG BONKERS. HE IS A BABY!!! TEACH HIM AND IT WILL COME!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wifi and Wifi 2.0 together on the roster? Look out NHL opponents. Keep an eye on Hutson's skates, his momentum keeps his skates moving forward they never stop dead or go backwards. I think our Slafzilla has just matured enough to see what he wants to be in his career. Great show! GO HABS GO!
Slaf needs more passes from his teammates. His game is with a high hockey IQ, he just needs to show it more often.
i do not like the girls there today
The whole Montreal was full of energy, Slaf was doing exactly what is his way > power giant whit stick skills and great passes and shot <, how they played that's a real face of HABS 🙂 Greetings from Slovakia 🙂
Slaf has to bring that meanness every game that’s his calling to be affective for the habs
Wright and Cooley are ahead of Slafkovsky in point and their development unlike Slafkovsky is gradually going up as oppose to Slafkovsky which is going down , so regardless of what hugues said , wright and Cooley are already better than Slafkovsky and also have better ceilings
This was Slafkovsky only decent game this year , quit being bias , he didn’t throw big hits and he fought a guy shorter by 4 inches and 30 lbs lighter than he is
Why are you guys talking as if he had a 3 point night and was dominant , he wasn’t , he scored a goal on a mistake from the Ottawa player
IMO that move by Hutson is legal. Hi skates are always going toward the end line. I've seen worse, which have been allowed.
People doubt Florian will even make it in the NHL. They doubted Arber too. They said Arber was in the doghouse with MSL, then he got a contact. They said it all again and he's playing excellent. Mark my words, Florian Xhehkaj will be a Montréal Canadien for a very long time. No doubt he can be a rock solid top tier 4th line power forward.
One assist away from his first Gordie Howe Hat Trick…
Florian Xhekaj is not only a tough guy on the ice but, also a highly skilled player.
Slaf needs to be that physical guy but only, in my opinion, if necessary, to stay away from the injury list.
Shane Wright is already at thirteen, by the way!
the furyan is going to be better than everyone thinks he is a matt martin ish type
cant wait to see hutson when he get around 25 years old
We want opposing teams to feel scared coming into Bell Center!
Florian is the next Josh Anderson
If Florian Xhekaj even becomes a good 4th liner that would be meeting expectations for me. If he becomes a good 3rd liner one day that would be a massive win for the Habs scouts.
I cannot wait to see how he and Owen Beck turn out in their primes. Both could be pretty damn important for us, especially for where we picked these guys.
Obviously it would be awesome if they were both productive NHL players but we all know that's not all these guys bring. We could have a Xhekaj on the ice constantly.
I'm very excited to see Slaf, Hage, Demidov, and more from Lane Hutson obviously too. But the other guys are important in other ways.
I bet that radar was calibrated on the high side. 94mph… 🤣
jesse looks like ai :DD
Love the physical play by Slaf but please dont a habit of fighting often
Not many so-called prospect experts calling Florian a reach or a bust these days. Strange.
