With the regular season paused, we tuned in to the USA vs Finland game last night.
Fast aggressive play from both teams…but we saw something very unusual after watching so many Rangers games this season…
Players were hitting – hard and frequent. Knocking opponents down. Clearing the netfront.
Announcers used a banking term to describe this – they said it was called "checking".

There needs to be 1 trade only, Brady freaking Tkachuk! After seeing him with Miller on a line, that's all i needed to see of what can be. I'd do Laf, smith, vesey, miller and a ahler like belzile tomorrow! Then move lindgren

Drury & Laviolette are both trying to keep their jobs. That kind of vulnerability is when stupid moves are made. Keep the cap space for the offseason.
The Rangers keep getting older and more expensive. Not exactly good trends. But whatever, nothing matters and we are all going to die so there's that.
