Something about Beers not being in that locker room now… And the stabilizing nature of MP3 on the blueline. It's practically a different Canucks team. Even without Hugs. Now they don't have a wannabe captain playing shadow captain, or whatever the hell Beers did with this team. I loved the guy, but he was unstable. I mean, christ, to the point where he had to step away from the team for a while this season. And now allegedly his wife has opened up about what was going on (with the team, I think – not personally). I'm not sure I even want to read it. Hugs must be relieved that he doesn't have to be everywhere, all at once. I wonder if he needed Beers to leave in order to officially call himself hurt?
I like to play a game with my wife where I scroll down Steve's recap videos and have her guess if the Leaf's won or lost that game. She guessed the Leaf's won this game because Steve was "smiling."
As a canucks fan ill take beating the leafs twice this season even if we dont make the playoffs 😂😂😂

Question: how does the referee's voice sound so loud and clear at certain situations in a hockey game?
I can't hear any of the other hockey players' voices while they battle it out on the ice. But in certain cases where the ref needs to announce something like a confirmation or a disallowed goal, his voice is as loud and clear as day throughout the whole arena. So… is he shouting at the top of his lungs or is there some kind of hidden headset in his helmet?
