Barbashev avoids running Gudas from behind, still wins battle, Vegas scores

Ivan Barbashev was headed for Radko Gudas in the corner and Gudas suddenly stopped up and turned to protect the puck. Because Barbashev wasn’t going in like a madman with a hit or bust attitude he was able to significantly soften any blow from behind. Even with Gudas safe, Barbashev still ended up winning the battle and the Golden Knights scored off the turnover seconds later.

  1. I feel like this is the sort of thing where I would collectively look at all the repeat checking from behind offenders and say "there, was that so hard?"
