Depends on winning. If you're in a state of rebuilding looking for futures and get a prospect and picks well your hoping you win the trade 4 to 5 years later but the state Vancouver is in. If you can get a 60 point forward and dman prospect or a pick and flip that pick aka hronek your in a good spot
I've been saying this multiple times. If you trade Miller, you're going to have to expect an anti-climatic return since Miller's value, if not already, is going down.
Short term you can’t long term yes you can if you get the right assets.
Imagine comparing Horvat with Miller in anyway shape or form 😂.
These two centres need to have more professionalism. They have to put the team ahead of their own mental space antics. Come on these are grown men playing professional hockey. The apparent feuding between these two players is so infantile.
You can't win unless you bring back an asset that can shut down the Oilers like Miller does. We have to go through Edmonton no matter what if we want playoff success. If we don't address this loss in the trade then Canucks are actually screwed. Who out there can shut down McDavid? Imagine the grit we are losing as well. If the Oilers game gets rough, who is stepping up? I see 2 very big losses that I doubt we can address. Too bad Miller and the coach are at odds. That is the real story.
