Unfortunately flopping/diving goalies like Jonathan Quick have made it so that the refs can't automatically trust that a goalie is really hurt.
So earlier in this season people were calling for bedsy’s job. I wanna send you an honest fuck off. If this post game press conference brings u back and now ur down with him….fuck off. This is HIM COACH! This is HIM! Has always been him. He doesn’t need to show this side but when we does….wow!!! He brought us from the bottom to contender and cup champion. ABSOLUTELY THE CORRECT CALL!!! YOUR PLAYER TRIPPED BENSON WHICH MADE HIM FALL BACK INTO THE GOALIE. THE PLAY WAS NOT STOPPED BECAUSE BENSON GOT UP IMMEDIATELY AFTER AND CLEARED THE CREASE.

Benson skated himself into the crease and tried to make a quick turn out and collided with Kelly. Kelly didn’t hit him into Wedgwood it was incidental contact

Wedgewood was clearly hurt so at that split second the ref has to blow the play dead! Which means no goal!

I thought the Ref should have stopped play for injury. But no the refs let the play go. Like Bednar said not upset at the scoring on the play but the hurt player should have the play stopped after the puck went wide to the corner.
So next time there is an injury have a player knock the net off the pegs … oops stoppage of play

Sorry but u are wrong..How do u know the goalie was faking it. The goalie wasnt in immediate danger. No head injury, how many times a guy gets beaned with the puck crawling around and theres no whistle. If a players helmet comes off a immediate whistle. Not if a HOCKEY player is holding ankle.
