The Edmonton Oilers will finish back-to-back games on Sunday night before the holiday break with a visit from the Ottawa Senators to Rogers Place. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl connected for the overtime winning goal vs the San Jose Sharks the night before, as Edmonton looks to head into the Christmas break feeling good about their game and where they’re at this season. The Senators are a tough matchup, having gone 8-1-1 in their last 10 games, so can the Oilers find a way to slow them down? We’ll find out tonight!

I also just realized 6 of 7 of the Canadian teams are currently in a playoff spot. I know it's way too early still, but Imagine a second or third round where it's all Canadian teams lol. I'm sure Bettman would love that /s.

I hadn’t been paying much attention to the Ottawa Senators. The fact that the overall team stats are so similar to the Oilers (in fact somewhat better) is surprising. Oilers will have their hands full, regardless of Ottawa having played last night on the late broadcast and having to travel. (BTW both goalies were awful in the Van vs Ottawa game).
Oilers 4-3.
Oilers need to bring their A game. Play as a team, great goaltending and we shouldnt have a problem. Go Oilers Go.

I predict Awfulwa will put up a helluva fight, but Oil will prevail in a higher scoring affair. Hyman puts another biscuit in the basket.
Well i'm not going to lie. I don't have a good feeling about this. Since the oilers barely beat the sharks and the sens statistically are a better team I believe this game will be a loss.

After the Sharks game where the offence created but didn't capitalize I will not be surprised if either (hopefully) the boys score 7 goals or be shut-out. I would like to see Perry with Brown and Arvidsson.
Seeing the performance offered by Askarov I was blown away (and a bit frustrated but eventually we won so all good) and if the goaltending doesn't get a solid grip I reckon that the management should look into a trade. Let's go Oilers 🛢️🧡 see you later on the livestream Austin
