Thinking outside the box , piss off the rest of the league….Lindy Ruff to GM and the Sabres hire Joel Quennville as head coach .Keep Seth Appert as assistant coach but replace D coach Marty Wilford asap- with another ex Chicago Black hawk coach Luke Richardson.
I like the Brian Burke idea as the Sabres would definitely become a tougher team.
Isnt Karmanos more of a money guy ? Kris Baker from the Baker/ Fairburn hockey podcast wasnt too excited about Karmanos as GM
Long shot Mike Futa ,58 yrs old , worked for LA from 2007 to 2020 and won 2 Stanley Cups . Started as a scout worked his way up to Vice President. Works for Sportsnet in southern Ontario right now.
I just hope Pegula hires an experienced GM and a President of hockey operations .
Want a good player evaluater , hire Jason Bukala , he runs the Pro hockey Group . Very knowlegable hockey man especially regarding draft prospects . Works part time for Sportsnet as well. Was a scout fot Florida from 2011- 2020 and a Nashville Scout from 2006 – 2011.

I think Buffalo have to resign Greenway at all costs. If they overpay him, then do it. He is the one player that 2 years ago I wanted gone, but now he is their only player that hasn't succumbed to the losing culture. He is the only one that will punish other teams physically and is THE guy you want on the top PK and out on the ice when up a goal for the final 2 mins of the game.
Karmanos has never been more than an Assistant GM in his LOOONG career and he’s been part of the front office of this team that has done nothing to improve this team.
So this is the prime example of taking a sidestep into the Status Quo. We need a FULLY experienced GM that has built a winner on at least one team or another.
As much as it would never happen, imagine Satan being the GM and you could say players made a deal with the Devil.
He ain't getting fired. He will be moved to a different position within the Sabres , such as, President of Hockey Operations

This is the team that was expected. They had a cold start with a hot streak. Now it it's cold again. We are a full rebuild and our draft picks with locking up Goalies with skilled defenseman is our nucleus.
There’s currently 2 general mangers in the NHL from that outstanding 2006 Sabres team (Daniel Briere with the Flyers) (Chris Drury with the Rangers) and there should be 1 more general manger from that 2006 team and that’s Ryan Miller. Pegula should give Ryan a call and make him an offer he can’t refuse.
The answer is that Lindy should become the President of Hockey Operations, and Seth Appert replaces him as head coach.
Replace him with anyone that doesn't draft SMURFS
They need to fire Adams. In 4 years the team has not advanced at all. He was given the job to advance the team.

I actually think Marc Bergevin made some good trades (even if he wasn’t bright enough to see it – eg: you can’t trade for a #1 center while he traded for Nick Suzuki). Although he really blew it with sergachev for Drouin. His weaknesses are his ego (he took things personally and was very stubborn) and even worse… signing players to ridiculous player friendly contracts. I would avoid this guy at all costs. His strength was tweaking the 3rd and 4th lines.
The assistant coaches are losers. Why are they still there? Most of them never even made it to the NHL because they were such bad hockey players. Fire them now!!!
Ray Shero would be my first call if I were to go external. Maybe Shero wants to be a Pres/GM, and then AGM Karmanos (elevated role) and AGM Ventrua (data)
Ken holland took a toxic dumpster fire in Edmonton and turned them into a Stanley cup contender. This clown just said Karmaos who’s already apart of the problem. Does Stinky Joe not realize there are ppl outside the Sabres organization you can overpay to come there. Data guys are just nerds also they aren’t GMs.
I read this quickly and you got my hopes up, however, I then read "if"…and Adams will never be fired. He has something on Pegula, he must. Adams is such a loser.
