I can see giving Nurse the trip call but the hollywood bullshit needs to go . Call the dive and maybe start adding extra penalties for that garbage to get it out of the game . This bs and the scrums after whistles don't add any quality or value to hockey ! Every time Sutherland refs there's controversy . Get rid of guys like him and stop the soap opera crap !
Nurse deserve the penalty and should’ve keep his mouth shut But the referee missed way to many calls on Florida High stick on Skinner for one could have been two missed on Mcdavid for sure and one hitting from behind looked like tripping on one of Florida goal
BS call. Nurse turns towards boards anticipating hit against the boards. Widens stance before he makes contact, which you would do anticipating a hit. Reinhardt tries to jump to the inside and trips up. I slowed it down to .25 playback speed and see no kicking motion and no or attempt at dragging the leg to intentionally trip him up. As far as what he said to the ref I’ll never know. But in my opinion the call sucked.
Remove that diversity letter. Not a leader, not a good player. There is at least 5 other players that deserve it on that team. Healthy scratch move to waivers back to the farm league where you might be of use to some lowly team.
