  1. It was sloppy. Kochetkov was sloppy. A win may be a win but we have to have good goaltending soon not later.

  2. Another great game from this team. I don't think I've seen the Canes look this good since 2006. All the so-called experts predicting that we'd take a step back this season have been wrong so far. All our new guys have been performing really well. It just goes to show — it's not the individuals on our team that matter as much as our system as a whole, our coaching staff, our general style of play. Really loving Roslovic, Blake, and the rest of the new guys and prospects.

  3. I get that Kochetkov is still developing for sure, but if the Canes had more consistent goaltending, they'd be the clear best team in the league.

You shouldn't be losing to a goalie who's having a .750 game. You have to play the Hurricanes like the Hurricanes play you, fast and hard. They take powershots constantly, they're young, and their tempo is rapid. You can't try to "secure a win" against the Canes, they'll beat you.

  4. by far the canes worst game of the season. glad they had that against the flyers and not sunday against the caps or something lol

  5. I basically can't watch the games live due to overseas time zone so I get everything via the highlights the next day, but it feels like almost every game the Canes play we have a 5-on-3 somewhere in there. I'm glad we're still winning, but it seems like we are taking WAY too many penalties, especially ones that come one right after/on top of the other.
