I was a sophomore and only cared about trying to play on varsity, but by the time the season was halfway over and we started losing all our JV games we're realizing. I tell ya being on a bad hurts more than losing a lot of times.
Like sometimes you feel good that you had a close game but lost, but so many kids just stop playing only cause they know they have no shot of winning every time they’re supposed to get in the field. So discouraging. Like you lose all motivation to play. So I imagine how many talented kids stop playing cause everyone else around em is terrible. Especially in a sport like football, you really need a good TEAM to win.
I was on a team in the JPS league that absolutely had no touchdowns whatsoever💀 I’d tell the name but if I say so my teammates gon hunt me down and haunt me😭
