  1. @bluenoob101 lmao, if you asked every GM besides Burke, they'd take Seguin over Kadri anyday. Team Canada World Juniors isn't the best factor to determine if they'll be a star in the NHL. For example, Justin Pogge, and didnt your GM trade Tuukka Rask for Pogge? LOL. And Hedman has only played in 2 seasons!! You obviously know nothing about hockey and only bias leaf fans thumbs up your comment. Kadri will be a second line center at best and will dream to be as good as Seguin

  3. @michaelgee33 No, Rask was traded for Raycroft (and probably picks or sonething, can't remember off the top of my head).

  4. YOU SEE! He's not a machine, he's a MAN! Be MORE a man than him! No Pain! No Pain! No Pain! – words of wisdom to the Toronto bench after that goal

  5. @Kaksisekuntiaaikaa lol where to start with this joke of a post.
First, comparing Kadri to Hedman is jokes. Forward to Defense. 7th overall vs 2nd overall. He simply hasn't had the chance to play on a consistent basis. To answer your ice-time question, Defensemen ON AVERAGE get MUCH more ice time than Forwards do. If Kadri was put on the Lightning with Stamkos, St. Louis, Vinny, etc that he would be playing? haha the answer is obviously NO!

Hedman was able to consistently play for Tampa because he is a 2nd overall DEFENSEMAN on one of the most offensive teams in the league (they needed him). Without as many offensive guns, the obvious choice is to pick players based on the team's needs.

And just because Kadri has scored multiple nice shootout goals on last years Vezina Winner, it doesn't make him a great player, you're right. It also doesn't make him a worse player by that same logic…

  7. @iOpTixx And through continuation, this means that your Sequin comment is also irrelevant, as he has played less than 100 total career games and because a "couple of nice goals" don't make him a great player. Lastly, yes the Bruins won the Cup, but you can not argue that a rookie was a deciding factor in getting there or that it was somehow his doing.

  8. @iOpTixx Look at the Leafs this year. If they win it with Kadri in the line-up and Boston or Tampa don't make it, does this make Kadri a better player? You are basically comparing apple and oranges man, eliminate the bias in your view and/or numbers. Arguments with irrational or illogical people are a waste of time.
