I didn’t get to watch the game. What in the fuck hell happened in the 3rd period?

12 misconducts in ONE PERIOD?? Was there a damn line brawl or something?

  1. Players got tired of a lopsided game and went for the early shower

Refs just needed to stop the fighting and ejected all players on the ice. With the exception of the Hartman vs Dubuois fight earlier in the period.

  3. Post whistle scrums and borderline dirty hits. Refs using their game management skills to prevent further issues.

When games are one sided in the 3rd period, refs use 10 minute misconduct penalties to prevent anyone from doing something stupid out of frustration. What would usually be an innocuous post-whistle scrum becomes a 40+ PIM affair with refs sending guys to the locker room early to try to keep some semblance of control.

If these were game misconducts, then you would have missed some crazy shit, but 10 minute misconducts tend to be either for this purpose or instigator penalties.

Maybe this is the game homers accept the team isn’t that good and play the younger guys? Downvote me again but at some point you have to face reality. Cute little run they had, but when they face a semi quality team they get exposed.
