Now and you guys know I’ve been an advocate for him but uh he is just letting this team die a slow death I don’t care what trades we make nothing is going to change there’s you know any player that we have our eyes on or talk about

Getting the first thing I check guys is I check their physical play because this team has none and uh it’s it’s brutal to watch it’s been hard to watch for years last year was fun because they scored they they had a good power play but once that

Was exposed and this team is still the same physically even though we went and got some guys in the offseason that can hit I don’t know guys I just don’t know H you know what I I don’t want to harp about the same thing there’s no point

This season’s been bad from since since pre-season it’s been bad since then so right now the Sabres are sitting 10 points out of uh a playoff spot 53 games 29 games left the equivalent of being five games out of first place in baseball with 29 games remaining it’s

About the same thing think of it that way so uh right now and the Senators are rolling they’re four points behind us with three games in hand you know we’re looking over our shoulder for uh the basement right now if anything which at this point uh you

Traded him right at the end of last year when his market value was high I I can believe I had Sabers fans actually happy this guy was doing good I couldn’t believe it because this guy has been a no-show as a saber since practically his whole career he he’s been

One-dimensional he’s soft as mink and and and he’s just anyway we know we’re going to probably just we’re probably what I’m saying is we’re going to get nothing for him it’s too late now nobody’s going to give you anything for this guy in that contract there’s been some bad contract

Signed on this team I don’t believe ow power’s wanted them for the record I don’t he’s a young kid okay I want to make that clear I see people like really saying things about ow power try and keep him mind his age but try and keep a mind his

Potential at the same time and let’s leave it there and see what happens if it’s a bad contract we’ll find out eventually it’s too soon to say that though way too soon now right now though I I think all po power’s had a bad year

I mean there’s a lot of players on this team that have had bad years this year all of a sudden skinners went dry it goes on and on and on the list uh Dylan cousins probably most disappointing year of everybody I think and at Tage pretty much is a non-factor

Like he used to be so I think it’s just a bad year folks a year of growing a year that this team has to learn again but I also believe it’s a year that we have an opportunity to make a coaching change and I and and I’ll keep harping

On it till I see it done because we have to make a coaching change this coach does not teach anything close to the entire game of hockey he teaches offense and that’s about it people say it’s an offensive League not really it was more offensive in the

80s you guys want the truth it was well you know what people will say that didn’t see the ‘ 80s hockey they say the goalies were bad back then no the goalies were good the the the goal tending equipment was half the size so before jumping on the goalies ability go

Take a look at their goal pads and their blockers and their Trappers and they’re up against two of the best forwards that will ever play the two best forwards I believe that we’ll ever play the game with Gretzky and Lemieux you’re never going to see forwards like that again ever ever ever

Ever it’s never happening no and I won’t compare Crosby and and McDavid to those guys come on I’m not on crack you know no no no those are great hockey players Hall of Famers yes those guys compared to like Gila Flur Marcel on those those two that I mentioned okay

If you want to go Crosby and McDavid where they stand all time can they be two of the top 10 all time I don’t know I got people say Crosby’s like one of the top four of all time no chance no great hockey player was he a top four of

All time then our League’s in trouble how many times they get 50 goals how many times they get 100 points I can go on and on no Gila Flur was much better Mike bossy was much better there players that were much better I think than Sydney Crosby and their Heyday they just

You know like but but people that argue this didn’t see them I seen both so I have the right to say it my opinion guys we have a plor of Talent on this team so yes this is why we’re disappointed you have a right to be as a

Fan guys you have a right to be disappointed in this team this year absolutely not just because of the hype going in not because of that because of our roster if you look on paper on our roster how much weapons are there let’s face it Granado can’t even

Get that right this year he can’t even get this team scoring we got zero after seven what more proof do we need that we need a coaching change I don’t understand it for those of you that think grenad is not the problem I’m guessing you’re 20 22 23

And you just don’t get it because you need a new voice that’s the nature of hockey the new voice has to come in you build a team you build a Stanley kep team very very very rarely is the same coach there from when the rebuild started Al aror comes to mind he was

There there’s not many guys there’s not many I can go on and on about like teams that when they finally broke through and won their Stanley Cup was the coach there in the beginning when they started building that team 99% of the time the answer is

No I don’t think this is the guy to bring us any further and it’s nothing against Granado nothing I like what he’s done I don’t think he’s a Stanley Cup coach that’s all I just don’t think he is I don’t think he ever will be I think he could be a Stanley Cup

Assistant coach he he’s smart man he’s good hockey man but I don’t see how in any way shape or form that we can say it’s okay the job he’s done this year this team has not been consistent this team cannot get a winning streak together this team looks uninterested I

Mean last game when you when we were shut out okay I mean we we we had just won seven to nothing and then we come and then we and then we come home and we we next home game we lose four to nothing so we go from seven goals to

Zero if that’s not inconsistent guys I don’t know what is I don’t care if it’s Florida they’re not like this they’re a very beatable team is what I’m saying every team in our division is beatable I don’t think the team from our division except maybe Boston will win the Stanley Cup this

And I don’t want that so I want the Sabers to kind of get it together I’m not concerned about playoffs I’m just not I’m not I’m more worried about culture in that room and I’m worried about what is our team going to do what

Are we going to do are we going to sit back and just say it’s okay that this happens and what we’re going to make trades and go get what we’re going to get lton from Philadelphia this is our solution we’re talking about defenseman I seen some defenseman names out there

And uh there’s one in particular that’s out there a lot and guys he has 30 hits all year this is not a solution okay we need a big mean guy in the back end like alar Robinson that’s what we need we need some sandpaper on this team we have

None so it doesn’t matter if we start scoring we tried that last year it didn’t work so what do we which way are we going to go with this are we just going to be like just giving in to the idea that if we score goals that’s good enough no not

Me I won’t do it I just won’t we need we need a complete hockey system here we need a coach like John torella look what he’s done with a team that’s far worse than our roster go look at the Philadelphia Flyers what they’ve done what they’ve accomplished

With nothing they don’t have much over there they just don’t but they’re accomplishing they even have a goalie controversy and they keep winning tell you what these guys that were charged I hope they don’t see the light of day in the NHL again once they’re proven guilty cuz I think they

Are I’ll just say it there’s no way there’s no way there’s this many charges and there’s no guilt there’s just no way this has been an ongoing investigation for a long time time till then I don’t care what hockey Canada does I won’t watch no not until this is fixed
