  1. Zadorov is a big LD who can play with an edge but he is also a risk taker prone to make mistakes due to the fact that he thinks that he is better than he is. He thinks he is a 2nd pair D when what he really is a 3rd pair guy. That also means he thinks that he is worth a long term contract at 5m which prices him out of Vancouver, so they wont, and shouldnt, resign him. Trade him depending on what you get for other needs.

  2. Of course you don’t need a fighter/goon anymore. However, come playoff time, the Canucks are going to get roughed up bad, they need Zadorov.

  3. if they are trying to trade him and i say if….they prob got a deal for Tanev and Lindholm worked out already

  4. By the eye test, there has been a significant difference in team performance when Soucy has been healthy and in the lineup. I think there are less questions about Myers, Zedorov, Juulson, et al, when that 'simple' piece is there. I don't know if the "analytics" back that up or not, but it sure seems apparent when watching the games. It just puts every d-man into their more appropriate position on the depth chart and in the play on the ice
