So let me preface this by saying I just started watching hockey last year (because of the Kraken) and I was casual at that. But based on what you said that seems like an awful lot of money for a “high potential” guy who was not an integral piece at his last stop. Is that accurate? Sounds like they are just “hoping” he continues his trajectory. Seems like a lot of money for hopes and dreams that a player will be good
