I think buffalo won this trade because buffalo gets a top4 defenseman and they only gave up a 2nd and 5th round picks and no roster players or prospects. I think the sabres won this trade.
Risto – Dahlin and Miller – Montour is a pretty solid top 4. With Pilut, McCabe, Bogo and Casey Nelson the d-core is looking pretty good. Just need more scoring depth to take some pressure off of Eichel, Skinner and Reinhart
