  1. BYU fan here. The Big 12 is a sweet place to be. I would love to see the Canes in the Big 12. Ya'all would be a great add.

  2. Big 12 also has Big 12 Mexico, the NFL Columbine Draft, and a host of other disruptions in order to be competitive with the SEC and B1G. We have three religious schools in the conference with members worldwide. These are things ya'all should consider when joining.

  3. Guys stop it! The move for Miami and FSU move is to the B10 not the damn Big12! The B10 wants into the South more so than them getting out West with USC, UCLA and now Washington and Oregon. If the ACC tv deal was over the same time as the Pac 12, Miami and FSU/state of Florida would have been priority 1 and USC and UCLA 1a! Why? This state is closer to the B10 footprint and the base B10 schools recruit more players out of Florida yearly than California. This state also has top of B10 fans and alum living here in Florida. The B10 tv partner would want Miami and FSU matching up against Michigan, OSU, Penn State, Nebraska, Wisconsin and etc yearly! To frank, if Miami and FSU right, it gives the B10 two more schools who can compete for national titles like the top SEC schools not just OSU, Michigan and Penn State. USC is as well now!

  4. MIami joining the Big 10 or SEC would be a bad idea. Those two leagues probably hate MIami more than the ACC does, and their officiating is just as crooked. Miami should avoid those two if at all possible.

  5. I don't tune in as much as I used to because it drives me nuts when there's a push for the "mobile" QBs over QBs with a higher completion percentage. If a guy can do both, then I'm all for it, but it's a childish and unsustainable approach, overall! Grayson McCall seems to be an afterthought, but is an excellent example of a QB that can and has done both! It reminds me of a fan base that would prefer Lamar Jackson over a guy like Brock Purdy, and the problem with that is the fact that guys like LJ get hurt and when they do, you DON'T have another guy like LJ. Sustainability is key to having and keeping an elite offense running, obviously! When in doubt, take the QB with a higher comp%, every time!

  6. As far as the B10 not wanting anymore teams! That BS! Miami and FSU going to the B10 gives them more money than Oregon and Washington. It would give the B10 a footprint in the South in the 3rd largest state with 5 top 25 tv markets. It gives them access to more recruiting in Florida with Miami and FSU in the B10!

  7. As much as people can say the Big XII doesn’t have value rn, that can be fixed if these teams want to build an identity in the conference. FSU, Miami, Clemson, Duke, UNC, and even some other rival schools would make great programs that will give the Big XII a new identity and compete with the other conferences, and will more than likely generate better revenue. While I doubt it’s gonna happen, I love this conference and want the programs to see the potential it has. Yormark is a good commissioner and is always at work to make this conference better. As a Baylor fan, I’d love to see the canes here!

  8. Id prefer the Sec because big10 sucks. Plus getting a chance to play the Gaterds every year woul be great!

  9. Compared to the acc the big 12 is worse. There best teams are going to the sec. Why would any team would downgrade to that conference.

  10. I don't see FSU or Miami joining the Big 12. The better football programs are bailing from that conference so why in the world would these guys join a league like that? Makes 0 sense!! FSU, Clemson and Miami are looking to get into the SEC and if there is any discussion with the BIG 12 which I doubt there is it is only a shot across the bow of the SEC to get their attention. These three are football schools and that is why they not only want out of the ACC they need to get out of the ACC. In fact VT would also like to go SEC but have just about 0 chance of getting in because of UT being too close to them.

  11. The ACC won 6 games & The SEC won 4 games head 2 head during the 2023 season. ESPN has too much input in the College Football Playoff Invitation. The other topic is ESPN selling their soul & behind to get the sole rights to the SEC. Very soon ESPN will terminate that ACC Network; which, did nothing but regulate most ACC games off ESPN main channels to that ACC Network & other ACC games to the CW. This is a clear & loud signal that if you are not in the B1G & SEC you are not fit to play in their invitation. Governor DeSantis has allocated $1 million for Litigation from the Administration of the State of Florida. The Secretary of the State of Florida Department of Financial Affairs; Which, is an Elected Office Specifically to deal with monetary issues. Florida State University is a Public University that lost millions of $$ dollars $$ due to a Committee that does not want to talk & ESPN who is stuttering or clamming up for any words. These are two separate avenues of litigation.

  12. The Big 12 should add Clemson , FSU, UNC, Duke, Miami and Va Tech then hold the NCAA tourney hostage. Make these corrupt networks pay 10 times what they pay SEC/Big 10 basketball to close the football gap.

  13. FSU wasn’t left out bc of Jordan Travis or any other reason. It’s bc the needed to get another SEC team in there.

  14. If the ACC disbands, Notre Dame will no longer have it's Independent Tie-in. If Miami, FSU and Clemson all head
South West the the Big XII, that would likely be attractive to ND, because I'm sure with those additions, the Big 12
would be Happy to make some concessions to include ND with Indy status. I know Clemson & FSU aren't among
the teams mentioned in the B12 dialog. But, if we could get them on board, the value of that conference inflates.

  15. Patrick Payton has already removed the tweet and never actually put his name in the portal. He thought he could get more NIL on the open market but I guess not.

  16. Its really the only logical step that there is more consolidation. Superconferences for better or worse is the future.

  17. I think Miami, Clemson, and Florida State should leave the ACC period. I believe that they need to go to another conference I am sure the Big 10, Big 12 and SEC would love one or all of the teams. Miami hasn't done anything since they left the Big East.

  18. I don’t know if Miami, FSU, and all the better ACC schools can get into the Big Ten or SEC. I would be okay with Big 12 if the best of the ACC joined. The money is a little better, I believe

  19. East Division: Miami, FSU, Clemson, North Carolina, UCF, West Virginia, Baylor, Cincinnati , Houston

West Division: Oklahoma State, TCU, BYU, Utah, Kansas State, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Kansas

  20. The ACC did vote against going to 12 because they thought that it would "force" Notre Dame to join the ACC in football. Then, the next year, the ACC voted to go to a 12 team playoff. The first vote just delayed things by one year.

  21. Miami , Clemson, and Florida State should get together with each other and look into the SEC or the Big Twelve conference. When you have three name brands in your conference conference, looking to make moves is very alarming.

  22. The big 10 is really to heavy there not as strong as what everyone thinks, the big 12 is actually a balanced schedule

  23. Unrelated but let’s think outside the box for a second. Put your tin foil hats on. Big 12 is arguably the most religious P4 conference as it’s currently constructed. The only major North American religion they’re lacking is a strong catholic based university 👀 could Yormark be working on a strategic way to get the Irish into the Big12 via God? If Big12 adds ND excluding football then things could get very very WILD.

  24. Would like a full merger. Bring in Oregon State, Washington State and form four 8-team divisions. WVU and UCF will be in the east. Cincy and Big12 plus OSU and WSU will split east and west. The ACC plus two will split north and south. Then have Four division champs play for conference championship for more revenue.
