Dude probably had a good 3-4 more years of Elite hockey in him but chose to retire as a Flame. On one hand, he probably could have got a cup somewhere, on the other, I am glad he isn’t retiring in different colors.
Probably top 5 best players Calgary has ever had and there is a lot of guys that fit into that. 3 of them were on the 2004 team alone.
