“The Colorado Avalanche lost to the Nashville Predators, 4-3, Monday night at Bridgestone Arena. Here are three takeaways from the road defeat.

    **Late heartbreak**

The Avalanche led 3-2 with under one minute left and a victory almost in hand. But Nashville pulled their goalie and scored twice within a span of 16 seconds — Filip Forsberg and Yakov Trenin — to secure the lead with 21.6 left on the clock. Alexandar Georgiev smashed his stick on the net in frustration.”

  2. Lesson learned hopefully. Better now than later.

But if they miss a better seeding by one point at the end of the year this is the game we will remember for that. 😬

Not for nothing, but Dallas just blew a 3-0 lead to us on home ice. These kinds of things happen from time to time, what’s important is how we learn from it and hope it never happens again

  4. Avs short changing their fans with these 59.5 minute performances.
