Scott Perunovich on wearing a neck guard and the passing of his friend Adam Johnson: “It was tough on us all. … Obviously want to be safe and show kids we’re wearing them too. It’s fine to wear them. I feel better with it and yeah, I just miss my buddy.”

Sheesh, strick. Maybe stick to the hard hitting questions till after the game. Tough seeing Scotty getting choked up so quickly.

  2. I’ve never cared for Strickland- such a dweeb.

I believe Pionk and Ehlers were wearing them Tuesday night as well.

  3. he was choked up this whole interview. I’m willing to bet a lot of money Strickland asked him before if he was willing to talk about it.

it’s a message Scott would want hockey fans to know for his buddy.

Not going to lie, that was a little tough to watch last night. I think the statement that they were “good friends” is an understatement. That’s a guy who lost his best friend.
