The New York Islanders played another sloppy third period and fell to the Boston Bruins 5-2. We discuss the mistakes that led to the loss and the line changes the Isles made. They were without Adam Pelech and made Pierre Engvall a healthy scratch, but the line of Brock Nelson, Anders Lee and Kyle Palmieri didn’t play well in this game.

Sorokin seems off,sit Lee,stop with the high sticks and play some D.
Whew going to be a long time before get that 5th Stanley Cup haha. I am kinda happy seeing guy get SHGs even if its not working out. I thought they would win that Minnesota game as I think Fleury started. It seemed like Islanders lost his number or he changed it? Penguins even with better teams would always lose to them when starting him. Team has too much money spent without getting production from those positions. Then they keep messing with Brock or Engvall when they have good chemistry together. Maybe if they put Wahlstrom on that line it would help scoring. Then have Palm on like the top line or what not. I was never big on Bo or Barzal. Seems like the next decade is going to be much of the same. Sorokin plays a style that is too tiring. All that movement or lower body stuff is prone to injuries and exhaustion ;).

1) we never had a lead to eventually give up

2) It could be worse. We could be Oiler fans.
If there was ever a question it is so obvious isles can't hang with the big boys. Outshot once again. Have isles outshot an opponent this season? Unless goalies save isles they are fried. Now soft as fk 18 is benched. Lee bumped to 21, 29 line does nothing-all -3. The forwards remain an interchangeable clusterfk of shit. Can't get two consistent lines scoring. I knew 21-29-18 would dry up and no other line would pick it up no matter who lane ass puts out there.Only bright spot-pp and sh goals including the 10 ghost scoring sh. Also gave up 2 pp goals so pk was lousy too. 6 looked lost without 3. Isles with that goaltending should not be losing leads/games in the third. What a mess with no answer to fix. Start with an overhaul of forwards. Get rid of all overpaid underachieving slugs. Bring in younger skill guys. Keep 13, 14, 29. Lou will probably re-up 15, 17. The rest can go fly a kite. Surprising 21 hasn't gone on ir yet 12 games in. Will louzer ever get a clue or is louzer going down with this ship? Stay tuned…
Lou said he has faith in this roster. Right there is proof the game has passed him by, lame lambert is not a good coach Maclean and houda are garbage too, the roster is not very good. I’m hoping after the owners pull their heads out of their asses and stop drinking their own kool-aide that they start the rebuild
