Nhl highlights today 2023 – That edmonton oilers vs vancouver canucks game was absolutely NUTS. I honestly didn’t think it would go that way, but that was one of the most entertaining 6-2 games I’ve ever seen. Oilers vs canucks highlights connor mcdavid angry jt miller and being unhinged was probably the most interesting part of this one, but the jay woodcroft ejection was a close second. I actually kind of completely disagree with your assessment on this game. Did you even watch the first period at all? The oilers were absolutely flying in the first 15 minutes. But they got burned by Demko standing on his head through the blitz. Shots were 19-2 Edmonton at one point and the score was 1-0 oilers. But, then Vancouver scored 3 goals before the period ended and it seemed to take the wind of their sails. This loss was more on skinner then most, and admittedly, Vancouver started playing better as well, but this could have been 4-0 oilers after 15 minutes.
I think the whole captain’s skate and showing up early had them too casual to start the season. Then losing twice to the Canucks who were supposed to be in the basement broke their confidence. But it’s everything goalies, defence, offence, and looks like they need a new voice (coach) in the dressing room. I like Jay but they’re playing way too slow and out of position. That’s a coaching issue

The saddest thing is that the Canucks won all 3 games in regulation. The Oilers couldn't even scratch out a pity point lol

he got ejected, because he called the Reffs on their Crappy job of not calling penalties on Vancouver. That's why McDavid is frustrated. Reffing is all against Edmonton. Just open your eyes. In the first 5 seconds there was a hooking against Van, "On Camera" and it didn't get caled. It was plain as mday. That's how the whole game went. So yes, McDavid was very frustrated. And Woodcroft was also, and finally voiced it to the Reffs, and got booted for it.

oilers fans, just face it, your team is not good. being carried by 2 guys won’t get you anywhere. your team has not had this bad of a start since the 2015-16 season, when they finished 29th in the league, and one point behind the leauge’s worst Maple Leafs. the oilers aren’t winning a cup with this core. they’re overrated. and this horrid start proves it.
You have several photos in this video of McDavid and Draisital both without mouth guards hanging out of the face. Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy to see them put those pacifiers away… but maybe those were the source of their power!

signing Campbell was a bad move, at least they put him on waivers but signing Nurse to a 8yr 9m/yr contract, now that was absolutely horrible. no nhl team will take that contract if it needs to be moved unless oilers retain a good chunk….shouldve kept Bear & Yamamoto
