Jack isn’t an NHL goaltender. I’ve been saying that since Toronto. The guy needs a sports psychologist not a stint in the minors.
Woodcroft made a huge mistake trying to change the defensive structure. Now it’s players thinking not just reacting on instinct to play the game. This team is in shambles. They aren’t even in games nevermind winning games.
Katz is more concerned about supporting a one sided war in Gaza and the killing of innocent children than he is with running this team. What a loser, he did nothing but win the McDavid lottery and rip off Edmonton tax payers.
I wanted a new coach by last June. Nurse and Campbell contracts hurt this team badly. Losing Kostin, Bugstad, Koskinen, and Larson were just nails in the coffin. But the most vocal Fans did demand that though. Never Ever trust an "Expert".

I question the GM because the coach should have been gone already. The systems are broken, zone coverage is not wkn . The D is terrible, It is not either goalies fault.
I don't think comparing the Oilers to last year is a good comparison. We should look at them with what they were doing 2 or 3 years ago. Perhaps last year was a blip for the Oilers – everything came together – Draisatl, McDavid were good, but then you had RNH and Hyman having the seasons of their lives, and a Rookie goaltender beating the odds, Elkhom and Bouchard electric. Are those players going to reach the same heights? Perhaps last year, when everyone peaked together was their only shot and they fell short.
