Congratulations Keith! I still remember being at the first game Keith played for the Blues. When he was announced in the starting line-up, he received a ~ 3-minute standing ovation. It held up the rest of the line-up and the opening of the game. It was amazing. I'm sure it shocked and pleased him too. Obviously, it was prophetic as he was before, and continued to be, an amazing player.
That line of Pavs Tkachuk and Mellenby was brutal to play against. In that era of hockey where there was almost no such thing and hooking and holding they pushed through. Mellenby and Tkachuk both being essentially power forwards created so much space for Pavs that they often dominated. Bad news for the Blues they only had one consistent line then.
