I’m an oilers fan but I’ll root for the flames if there’s nothing else to watch…. And I was watching that game…. That shit was disgusting. The fucking worst part of it was that after the cross check that was clearly an intent to injure he was sitting in the penalty box and smirking! Mfer you kidding me!?! 1 game suspension? You should be banned from hockey!
If someone took a cheap shot on my team mate like that then not only would there be a scrum right then and there, but the next puck drop it would be gloves off immediately. doesn't matter if Mangiapane was out of the game, anyone from the other team is getting swung on. If you let the other team get away with that crap once it'll only get worse. I am a strong believer that this game isn't just boxing on ice but fisticuffs has been an accepted part of the game since the beginning for this exact reason, when you have the threat of getting punched in the face you behave your self better.
