I’m at the point where I’m not going to watch all the games.
But there is hope – Florida snuck into the playoffs as the 8th seed and were looking great. A coaching shake-up, or just the new systems clicking can have a big effect. But yeah things cannot continue as they are.
Everyone saying the teams record is similar to the start of last season, idk if they’ve been watching the games. We only played really good with a win against Dallas. Feels like the wins we have this year we had to claw back from deficits.
Knies and Domi need to be freed from Kampf. I don’t care if he’s making 3C money he is useless on that line and it’s what’s holding our bottom 6 back.

Calle-Matthews- Marner
Knies – JT- Willy
Bert – holmberg- domi
Gregor- kampf – Reaves
Or if keefe doesn’t trust holmberg at 3c then

our collective team defence is a concern. when we signed the new additions, we all knew they were one dimensional offensive players (supposedly). They’re not bringing offence and defensively, they’re hurting the team.
This is what you get when you go out and get the Calgary GM to fix your problems.
At this point, I’m hoping that maybe the leafs do worse in the regular season but save their skill for the playoffs, Ik it’s copium but that is all i have left.
This team is depressing. So much potential but they just don’t give a shit.
I feel like this is the fifth time MLSE has put the same product on the ice, and once again they’re pandering to our hope. It’s not happening. Not this year. The core four must be dismantled. It should have happened a few years ago. Until that happens, TML will bask in an unbelievable glory of mediocrity because it sells.
I can’t get over how good Tage Thompson is. Killer shot, does everything at top speed and so calm on the ice. He really impressed me last night.
I honestly didn’t think anyone could be worse than Holl. But Klingberg has showed its possible.
