Sorry Not intentional , even with his history. Incidental contact on the play Lilligren foot gets hooked on Marchands and that’s why his left foot is in that position. They both had the brakes on ….. and it’s still a contact sport !!
I find it that little bit more disgusting now that he's the captain. He's normalizing this sort of dirtbag play to his whole team. Meanwhile, the Leafs captain sits blank-eyed on the bench as usual, doing nothing as the captain.
I’ve watched Marchand since he was in AHL. He’s great to have on your team but you hate him if he isn’t. He goes long stretches with nothing but clean play then every once in a while he does something borderline or dirty. He’ll fight if he has to and is actually a pretty good fighter for his size. We love him I. Boston but I know Leafs and Canucks fans sure don’t.
63 has been a POS for a long time what i dont get is how he hasn't caught a stick upside the head or even getting his ass beat in a fight. He's not the biggest dude in the nhl why does nobody ever go after him.

Honestly find it disgusting how such a goon can be captin. I understand a need for enforcers still but the culture has changed since the pre-00's and he just gives hockey a bad rep.
I still don't understand why Marching to so much immunity from the NHL after having injured so many players not to mention his countless bastard behavior since he was in this damn league in Bettman, he may have a talent of scorer this does not justify this type of behavior. AND don't come and tell me that he didn't know that he was eliminating his opponent even if it meant seriously injuring him in the corner of the rink with this leg crunch, he knows very well what he's doing!
