    Blues are way more active pressing in the O zone when the Canadians have the puck. All game. Good in the neutral zone both ways. Not just packing it in and giving the blue line so easily on D. The line tweaks look good. Kyrou is doing better without Tommer. Small sample set but this is far better than what’s been going on.

    My first Blues game was in 1973 against the Canadians in the old Arena, and we won 5 to 0. Tonight’s game not only reminded me of that first game, but reminds me why I instantly fell in love with the Blues. I was 10 years old and I thought every game was like that. In the 50 years since I have learned that every game is not like this one, but it’s a damn good feeling when we win, especially when we beat the Canadians.

    I love it when the St. Louis Blues win hockey games.
