It's oddly not in this teams nature to play with "Pugnacity and Truculence" but if this skilled team wants to transcend to the next level of success they have to find a way to be brave and tough. They will not succeed if they don't play with "piss and vinegar." You couldn't mess with Ovechkin like that. Sidney Crosby is not violent but he has aggressive tenacity and spit in and around the net. Mathews, Tavares, Marner are paid extremely high salaries to not have a "nastier edge" to their game. They should practice post whistle gang attacks on weasel moves by opponents.

I liked what Keefe was saying up until he tried to use the fact that they tied the game as a response to what The Rat did. F that! Someone has to pay for what happened whether it’s the rat himself or another guy on the team.

Sorry Keefer. Love you buddy. But Revo needs to be out there. Fucking Marchand, or however you spell his name, it doesn't fucking matter, we need a physical response. Yes, Marner and Matthews score goals and get points, but at what point do you defend team honor? Feel terrible for Tim here. Team showed no push back. Poor team response in my opinion.
