I’m all for blending the lines but these are umm… a choice lol

I think Cooper has officially lost it..
Cooper sure isn’t afraid to throw everybody into a blender. Not sure how changing the lines is going to improve the ever-present problem that TB just sometimes chooses to take ten minutes off in a game and that’s usually when they lose.
I guess the season is still early enough that tinkering like this might lead to unexpected good developments, but I’m personally wondering whether more focus ought to be placed on figuring out how players can acclimate to the new defensive system better. And fixing a power play that has suddenly gone a little bit dry.
kucherov on 3rd line aside something else i see is that merela was out for watson (“mixing in” with motte). that probably means he’s gonna be the guy that motte replaces when he gets healthy.
Perbix and deHaann sounds like an adventure I don’t want to go on.

I had to laugh reading this line up. Maybe Coop is just trying to make a point? Remember at the beginning of the season we were all saying “If we can win 50% with Vassey out, we might be ok”? Now, I say that is not good enough after I see how we are loosing these games.
