NHL owners aren’t supposed to say this…

New owner of the Ottawa Senators, Michael Andlauer, just dropped a bomb about the NHL and his purchase of the Sens following the Dadanov draft pick scandal. All that and more discussed on today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. Bettman and Daly learnt well from Vince McMahon from WWF wrestling it's all about the money. The game is rigged.

  2. Hmmmmm Chicago had a scandal n no real punishment yet ottawa forget something the league could've informed all parties n gets dinged a pick. N when it comes to pinto the league looks hypocritical when they get a slice of the action off of nhl bets.

  3. I feel for the new owner. Them hiding this from him as he buys the team is shady as fuck. I'd be outraged and would do everything possible to fight this.

  4. When you mention a previous video will you link it in the description? I’m trying to follow hockey closer this year and your channel has been my favorite. Just like your Star Wars channels.

  5. Anyone know how I can stop getting notifications about this channels posts??? I’m not subscribed.. big waste of time here

  6. The problem with the nhl Gary buttman doesn’t care and won’t listen to anybody and he ruins hockey!!!

  7. BETman LEANS HEAVY towards the American teams. The money for BETman is what it is all about and the smaller market Canadian teams he wants in the USA.I must also add,he is a WEASEL,look how he treated the families of enforcers that were damaged,Pure Greed.

  8. Two things can be true at once. The loss of the first-round pick is way too severe, and the league should have had this settled months ago. But, Andlauer knew this was still an outstanding issue and that anything could happen, and he (apparently) didn't bring this up during the negotiation.

  9. The NHL has just lost any ounce of credibility it ever had in my mind. No consistency in it's rulings and decisions; complete hypocrisy over the pride tape ruling and the Pinto suspension and giving out penalties for a mismanaged trade over a covered sexual assault scandal.

  10. Blackhawks should have been fined the maximum amount which was $2M but due to the fact this was an ongoing coverup it should be multiplied by the number of reports and institutions damaged by their failure to make public the assailants crimes which like this instance of punishment of a 1st round draft pick loss impacting the value of the sens, disclosure would have impacted institutions decisions to move forward with the assailant meaning the blackhawks allowed further potential sexual assaults to occur so the punishment should have been multiplied by the number of incidents. I feel the Sens new owner has a great point and a leg to stand on that the NHL likely held off on punishment to the Sens until after the sale to protect the sales value. I don’t have issue with the punishment just the timing of the execution of punishment. I feel like the NHL should have taken care of this long ago and as a result should also have used this as a precedent to re-evaluate their systems and rules/regulations as they have to approve all contracts and trades they should have had a copy of the contract and all NTC teams tied to that contract which should have been disclosed and ensured was made clear before the trade between the Sens and Vegas as well as made blatantly clear before the attempt to trade with the Ducks. I feel this shows far more incompetence on the part of the NHL for failures of properly implementing and executing their role as the regulator of the league then failure on a team and the former leaderships failures which were being hidden until they attempted to scape goat the punishment onto new ownership so the owners and league would get more money from the sale, showing a criminal intent to hide the removal of a high value asset in the form of a first round draft pick which ultimately would impact the value of the Senators sales price. I hope the league gets sued for a lot of money and gets a major investigation into their proceedings as I feel like their handling of and disclosure of ongoings has been suspect for years and until their is some sort of oversight there will continue to be further instances like this in the future.
