The crass part of me says it’s smart of him since he founded a company (Warroad) that makes these undershirts. He’s been known to generally be a good guy who does the right thing, so I’m hoping he’s doing it for the safety aspect

Shit, I think I would now, no one wants to die from an accident like that

I was wrong, I was 100% sure 100% of players would not put one on.

  4. Looks kinda dusty but the league probably should make them mandatory.

I remember wearing these in youth hockey and hating it..

It’s barely noticeable too. This need to be mandatory

Man I don’t know why players are so against them, it doesn’t even look bad

You’d think these days they could make a highly breathable ultra-lightweight material that could protect their necks.

If everyone wore them, a spine guard and a bird cage or aquarium, there would be far fewer major injuries in the sport. Almost non-existent.

Doesn’t look cool, but spinal cord injuries, facial injuries, and dying kinda suck too.

My rink just made these mandatory for beer league so guess I’ll be getting used to it.

Off topic; what’s with the raised helmet ad?

Lot of people saying it’s unnoticeable but I’ll go a step further and say I think it looks good
