  1. It did no good. 27, 10, even 26 have played on 13, 14 line to no avail. and putting 26, 10, with jpg don't work. only one line is clicking-21, 29, 18-early in the season. that production wont continue unless another line gets going. you don't go far as a one line team. too many unproductive fwds. on isles. 26, 10, 27, even 44 who looks lost without parise. I keep saying you can shuffle these fwds. around all you want. two weak link lines that can't score will still be there. and until two top six scorers are found nothing can be done about it as 27, 26, 10 add nothing up front. Maybe ahl recalls would help. ishk 8 pts. 7 ahl games. Dufour? isles are stuck with lee. I get fkn tired of seeing this sorry fwd. group avg. 2.7 gpg each season. Lane can't even get balance and get four line scoring which louzer wants and still thinks he can get with this aging unproductive bunch. The need is so obvious. When is this shit ever gonna be rectified? dump a fwd. ltir someone. Send someone-26-down to ahl. Do something or make a deal for someone that can score with 13, 14 to get another line scoring consistently. Get off your ass louzer and do something. Go get lindholm. Dump 26, 10 in any deal. Move jpg. Do something… That first, dufour, 26/piece are gonna go eventually. How much longer are you gonna wait louzer? And palmeiri took a big hit in the crease the last game so you know he will go down with usual injury soon so that fks up that line. And a #88 is still sitting out there unsigned and getting healthy. I know it wont happen but could #88 be worth a shot especially with injury?

  2. Hi Gil, I miss barry trotz 🎉 we are going to have ups and down 😮 Nypd baseball won their first game today played chandler fire department. Scotty pitched 6 strong innings. We won 8 to 2 🎉play Friday. Tomorrow going to coyote game..the tickets are 1 hundred 🎉every seat looks like a good seat. Very small. Also 80 degrees and sunny 😊Gil ❤great show like always.

  3. He (LANE) should have a MUCH better idea of the personnel by now! He should know what the best possibilities are by NOW! Lane is not a seasoned HC! We’ll continue to suffer through, not only our same lineup but his growing pains as a head coach!

  4. Since Arbour retired they have had many coaches. Here is what I see as a die-hard fan. If the coach does well they can't pay them what they deserve come contract talk. So they get rid of them. But if the coach works for peanuts, they will get as much as they can until the fan base just had enough. And then they usually promote an assistant for half a season. Then they give the assistant the next full season. Usually a disaster. The interim coach has been part of the isles history for 30yrs! Now when they spent money on a good coach and general manager (Lou & Trotz) they've had success. But success cost money. Ownership rather count money than spend it.

  5. What a stupid move by lambert. Did he seriously think that was going to work? And why is Lambert still putting Lee in the first line? I don’t get it. There’s plenty of talent to put on the first line. 🤦

  6. Gm Gil. I don't understand why Hudson Fasching has become a healthy scratch when you look at the 2way play of Lee and Barzal. You could make the argument that its time to put some fear into the top lines that the bench is an option if the defensive lapses continue. I would like to see Barzal sent down to Bridgeport to remind him that a career in the NHL is a privelige. Its clear that the defensive mindset in the players is evaporating.

  7. Hey Gil, great topic.
Terrible timing by Lane to make a point. Perhaps the Bo-zal line was giving up too many prime chances. It seemed the entire team was IDK. He may have figured he could straighten Barzal out and get Wahlstrom going all in one switch. Lane trying to do too much all at once….again. He should have stuck with what was working and see how it developed instead of focusing on his vision of how one line would play the game.
A couple of weeks back I posted that Barzals defensive game was evaporating. He hasn't been hustling on the back check and his efforts to get the puck back in the defensive zone have been half-assed at best. Perhaps his attitude is since he is now a winger, defense doesn't need to be as big a part of his game anymore. Problem is, Horvat is a net front guy and usually isn't in position to be a defensive center. Think about Barzals natural game. He would hold the puck and burn a lot of energy in the O-zone and didn't have much left for defense. It's exactly why Komarov ended up on the top line. It worked OK because Barzal and Eberle had chemistry and scored often enough to make it work. When it didn't, Komarovs excellent defense helped balance things out. If Barzal had committed himself to improving his face off percentage, he might still be a center. Dumping Eberle set Barzal back. Stupid move. Barzal is a bit selfish because his game is his game. He killed Lee's net front game by refusing to just toss the puck to the net or shoot for the tip in. I still remember the interview where Lee was asked about his lack of goals off tips. "You can't tip it in if nobody sends it to your stick".
