Letang takes scary fall after hit from Doan

Kris Letang just can’t catch a break this season after a big check from Shane Doan caused the Penguins defender to fall awkwardly tail-bone first into the boards.

  1. Omg I just legit saw Kris Letang today at a donut shop and he gave me tickets to Tuesday's game

  2. Letang wasn't braced for the hit and got thrown to the wall like a child and folded up like a paper crane. Not Doan's fault.

  3. I'd say it was a clean hit and I'm a pens fan I'd just say he went into the boards pretty weird and the coyotes player didn't do it on purpose he just wanted to finish his hit like all players do but Hope he heals back fast but good

  4. I have huge respect for Letang; he has taken some major and debilitating hits in his career, and he keeps working his way back from injury.
    He's fun to watch.

  5. very similar to the foegle hit on oshie recently where it was a push, but also an awkward fall and stance that caused injury

  6. A few years ago, when Artemi Panarin was a rookie with the Hawks, Panarin had, by himself beaten the Pens in back to back games.
Artemi is not a big guy, certainly snaller than Letaing, and with a minute or so left in the game, Letaing comes full steam cross ice looking to crush Panarin, who was able to avoid the hit more or less.
It was an obvious attempt to hurt the kid in revenge for beating the Pens twice in two days.
So, spare me your praise for this punk.
