No big news on the Canucks but Friedman confirming what Dhali reported that Canucks are already being very active and aggressive behind the scenes trying to improve.
Him adding that Canucks don’t want to add sweeteners might help calming down people that were freaking out about them trading a 1st rounder now to “reward” the players

So… We’re dilligently working the phones looking for a team who’s willing to give us a player that makes our team better – and, what we’re willing to give up, is a lesser player, on a worse contract? And that’s it? Nothing else? Just a lesser player on a considerably worse contract?
How’s that been going for us? About as well as our painstaking hunt for high draft picks in exchange for low draft picks in the same draft I imagine?
Add without sweeteners while shedding cap. That’s the dream isn’t it.
