  1. Makar has even come out and said he lost his footing; and it was nothing that Okposo did. I understand why MacKinnon was upset – if something happened to Dahlin like that, I wouldn't be happy either. And yes, the officiating is terrible. But if you mess with the bull, you get the horns…

  2. this ref is a child
he is poorly trained and not very professional
these refs have too much power and who pays $500 to watch a bad ref
i turn the game off as soon as the first bad call happens in a game and i suggest that all real hockey fans do the same
so im not watching a lot of hockey but im getting to see a lot of great basketball
plus as a leafs fan my blood pressure has dropped since i dont watch them much any more

  3. What penalty? Makar slowed down and tripped on his foolishness.
Now, his very late hit on McCann went "Unpenalized"

  4. Clutterbuck got the same treatment for mouthing off for too long. Clearly, the refs are fed up that stuff.

  5. Lol commentators like that one – have fun covering a team that ain’t winning a thing

  6. Kinda odd on how the refs didn’t call the boarding penalty, spite the fact that he was witnessing the incident right in front of him, but I kinda agree and disagree with Mackinnon’s penalty, ya if he didn’t get the penalty, more the likelihood he would have gain revenge or dropped the gloves, however he does have a point about the board on Makar, it’s just stupid and I feel like refs are getting lazy now a days
