I’ve been a Canuck fan all my life, moved to Dt Vancouver from outta country in 2016, bought season tix first two years. Live close to the arena, just wanted to go to playoff hockey.

    This is the year, finally!

    Pls no jinx

  2. wintercom

Are we good? I’m just, I can’t Beleive it. They’ve hurt me so much, too many times before.

  3. Ruffianrushing

How many periods without a 5v5 goal against?

  4. SkidmarkDave

Ugliest win I’ve ever seen. Jesus that was bad

  5. sluttycupcakes

Took the Canucks 17 games to get to 13 points last season…

  6. -GregTheGreat-

A bit of a sloppy game, but being able to hold on and grind out a win in sloppy games is a skill on its own. We wouldn’t have won this last year

  7. andrew88888q

Petterson with the hatrick o treat tonight

  8. julesieee

No contract extension for the Flames core? They’re imploding faster than Oceangate sub. I feel bad for them…. almost.

  9. huhushow

I think our team mentally stronger than last year.Good to watch today game

  10. darksalamander

Do i need to start planning to fly home for the parade?

    >”It’s fun to play here now.” — Petey on the crowd at Rogers Arena

😮‍💨😮‍💨 let’s keep it this way please

Accountability man. Love seeing Miller get benched to send a message. Wasn’t the prettiest game but good teams find a way to win.

  13. Imthescarecrow

They battled back after a sloppy 10 minutes and won a game they probably shouldn’t have (based on the first period), they fought hard and got a point from a game decided by the refs, they completely dominated the Blues for 60 minutes, and they shelled the Oilers and made them look like the San Jose Sharks. This team is the real deal

  14. ooMEAToo

We always had a good core it was just surrounding them with some backup. We are a good team but I’m being cautiously optimistic as well. Go Canucks.

  15. SkidmarkDave

Coach won’t be happy with that win. Sloppy sloppy sloppy

All this game for some reason I couldn’t stop thinking of 2013, watching a shift with Kelser out there and his body language showing that he was done. I knew **we** were done. I’ve spent the last pitiful decade watching pretty much every game. This is the game that makes me feel like, maybe, we may be turning the page again.

  17. I think it’s neat that six different teammates assisted on Pettersson’s hat trick. Feels good to see the team be like that.

Oh I am definitely going to rub butter on my nipples and eating a bag of cheetos after this win

  19. dwaynebigd

Lots of talk about splitting Hughes and Hronek up to make two serviceable pairings, but how fun is it to watch these guys both jump up in the play at the same time without blowing their D coverage all game

  20. moisterthencloyster

Amazing what happens when a rich guy who doesn’t know how to run a hockey team steps back and let’s professionals do their job without meddling

  21. ENSIFERUM6666

    hockey is FUN AGAIN

    GO CANUCKS GO

  22. 83tinman

Great win and all but has there been any discussion on MacDonalds pushing their game day big Mac from $3 last year to $4 this year.

  23. moisterthencloyster

If they played like last season this would be peteys last season as a Canuck, if they keep this up he’s gonna sign here, thank gooooood

  24. GangreneMachine

Really hope that they can get Pettersson re-signed before this streak ends.

  25. dbainerr

Finally feels like this is the team we’ve been waiting for 🥲

  26. mrtomjones

Did Sportsnet app get rid of the ability to listen to their radio stations on it? I can’t find them now

  27. Greenarrowfan

In other news Bruin d-men suspended for dirty hit on former Canuck d-men OEL…

  28. carry-on_replacement

Suter does everything but score. He can defend, he can set up good chances (that just don’t go in), PK, and win faceoffs. I really can’t get mad at this guy even if he’s frustratingly unproductive.

Beau is finally getting some points but none of them really seem deserved. At least he’s getting points though

  29. skateordiedev

Can we talk about how bad the refs were

  30. Due_Entertainment_44

People going to the home games are getting their money’s worth so far.

  31. canucks5364

We’re in November, it’s not that early in the season anymore and Canucks are 4th in the league, 2nd in division & conference. Elliot Friedman says teams that are > 4 points out of a playoff spot on Nov. 1 miss the playoffs 88.7% of the time. Nucks fam I think we deserve to properly get our hopes up 🤭

  32. MalRak02

wouldn’t mind Desmith playing next game, keep resting Demmer!

  33. RepulsiveHumanShell

Kinda bad game by the team and still won, so that’s good. I guess someone told Petey he better shoot if he wanna score some goals

  34. W33DisTIGHT1

Yo so was there some phantom predators shots added to the box score? I was at the game and they only had 25 shots when the horn sounded. Lost my demko save U bet cause of this??

  35. yellowjack

Was Miller giving it hard to the refs to earn the double minor?

  36. deepwater-

Tocchet just said on 640 that Myers is one of the best players on our team LOL

  37. I said it in the game thread and I’m going to say it here: I fucking hate how the broadcasts hide the hat rain for hattricks, and I have no idea why they do it.

  38. shadownet97

Tbh the guys we brought in to boost our penalty kill have all done a stellar job (minus Blueger since he hasn’t played a regular season game yet).

Suter and Lafferty have been excellent pickups. Well done by Allvin to spot that potential.

  39. electricnux

Friedman is being asked to play a bigger role on this team that he probably ever had in his career, he wasn’t at training camp and has immediately bought into the system not even 2 weeks after being traded.

This coaching staff is something else
