If it's for Carlsson's and the team's developments, I'm more than okay to see him play fewer games this year. I hope Greg Cronin finds a way to make Leo a "horse", as per Pat Verbeek's words.

i love this approach by Verbeek, i think its a homerun longterm, i have seen many many times, prospect being flushed into the NHL, and marketed to sell tickets, and their development stalls. but im also greedy wanting to see Carlsson playing.

Drysdale is gonna be an injury prone guy on a team loaded with young Defenseman wanting his position.

Per Derek Lee: He's not injured. It's nothing more than load management. I made a point that unless your name is Bedard or McDavid, you don't get to play 82 games in your draft year. Jack Hughes didn't and neither did Nathan McKinnon or Jack Eichel. And I'd rather watch a fully developed Leo Carlsson reaching his upside go up against Fantilli than this.
Scratching Leo is stupid. I've watched every min he's been on the ice preseason and regular plus most of your practice feeds (thanx!). If he was barely hanging on or looking overmatched or pushed around etc then fine this plan would make sense, but thats not the case. He absolutley always looks somewhere between competent to one of the best on the ice just about every shift, ON THE 1ST LINE no less. The only knock I can see if I'm tryin to knit pick his game is yes towards the end of longer shifts and maybe alittle towards the end of games he's alittle less explosive. Just give hima few less shifts! He's still growing and haven't heard anything bout him having bad work habits or attitude so let him skate himself into better endurance. If Beeks gonna burn his 1st yr eligibilty, get him on the ice every single min!

Update tonights game has been rescheduled to 5:30pm, due to a power outage. Nationwide arena still has no power. If its not back by 3pm they will most likey reschedule the game.

With many of these injuries this team needs a good strength trainer, they should look at the injuries and see if these injuries have something in common and do injury prevention workouts.

I don’t what the Dumb GM of the ducks is doing not playing Leo if this the case it would be batter for Leo to start in the ahl instead wasting with this crap of moves
