that’ll sting a bit, but that PP goal to tie it late are the type of goals we never got last year which had us sneaking into the playoffs

They need to step up more for Sorokin
Bo giveth, and Bo taketh away. Defense still an immense problem. Lambert is not equipped to handle that problem either.

Gave two points away and choked one to Detroit who’ll likely be contending for Wild Card spots as well. Just not a great night, especially combined with the Rangers comeback win.
Sorokin with just a decent offense would make for an unstoppable team

Once again lack of top end offensive talent killing us. We tried though. Panarin wanted the rags. Debrincat wanted the wings. It ain’t easy being the isles
I do not understand the line shuffle, if it’s a speed thing don’t break up Barzal and Horvat replace one of the 3rd line wingers with Gauthier or something this isn’t working
I mean, we suck in OT and SO. We know that. But the 3rd period meltdown is inexcusable.

Wahlstrom has not earned a regular spot in the lineup. Fasching and or Gauthier need to start getting some playing time

We need one of the beat reporters to ask Lambert why he changed the lines up 2-0 and why specifically he broke up Horvat and Barzal again. Totally insane coaching decisions tonight

This isn’t on coaching, this is mostly a veteran team. I think this is more on the leadership or lack there of on the ice. Lane has his hands tied with these players, they’re all on long-term deals and they’re all pretty mid. Barzal isn’t a rookie anymore and he still makes boneheaded mistakes. Remember this is basically the same team they had with Trotz. That would now be two coaches this team has been mid with. This is on Lou for constructing this flawed roster that literally depends on their goaltender
the roster is i think better than i thought it would be but the coaching is a lot worse.
