Anderson played really well there no doubt about it.
But we had half a period worth of 5 on 4, just completely unacceptable not to score during at least one of them.
Can’t win games against good teams if you go 0-5 on the powerplay. Fun game tho

PP sucks ass, missed way to many chances to score, and puck clearing out of are zone was embarrassing. Also got destroyed on faceoffs.

Honestly thought we played well, Andersen just played better. We needed to win more faceoffs, that last one after the icing being the nail in the coffin. And the powerplay killed us as well. We lost but I’m still feeling positive about this team.

Was nice watching them hang with the eastern conference runner up from last year but Jesus 0/5 on PP and no goals out of all those chances in the beginning of the third was painful, I guess feeling pain after a flyers loss is a nice change of pace from years past
After that whole sequence where we couldn’t score and hart was stoping shots you just knew that 3rd goal was coming like that
Last week we were 1 in the metro now not even in a playoff spot. How fast things change. Also the nhl app sucks butt now.
That’s a good loss. Special teams are still a persistent issue but I have a lot of confidence in individuals, both the younger guys and the core players. Good future to build around.
Those final 3 minutes were absolutely brutal to watch.
Other than the Ottawa and Anaheim ones, I’ve loved our losses. Close games against Cup contenders that we could have won. I’m not team tank, I want us to have success, but I do see major value in at least one more top 10 pick. So if this season goes “tough loss in a great effort” … I’ll be pretty okay.
At least the Pens lost in an even more embarrassing fashion than us.
Oof those last two minutes were PAINFUL to watch.

Hate to say it but I think Foerster needs a game out
The good? Another game playing up and making good case to beat a top team.
The bad? Brutal last minute regulation loss like Vegas and horrendous PP once again costing them and will continue to cost them big points.
