I just don’t see how the next handful of years aren’t completely crippled by the Kadri and Huberdeau contracts. It’s utterly devastating for us fans. Tre really misplayed all of it in an effort to ease the pain of losing Matty and Johnny. What a bummer time to be a flames fan. And there’s something even more painful if feeling like we’re out of it in October.

Does anyone remember that media availability from Sutter last year where he was asked why we were generating so many shots but so few goals? Sutter replied saying when you don’t have much talent you need a lot of shots to try to score.
Most of us thought he was being a jerk.

The utter disrespect towards Flames fans from the organisation is infuriating. We do not deserve this never ending mediocrity, fuck we’re not even mid atm, this is just garbage. I hope Conroy can convince Edwards and co. that this is not it, this team will not even sniff at the 2 playoff games and revenue. Mostly, season ticket holders will start to withdrawl their renewals more and more if there is no clear direction for this team. I can support a team that is willing to admit hey, this isn’t going to work, we are gonna do things different this time, bear with us. But I am not going to spend more money on a franchise that always tries to compete with bare minimum. Fuck you and I’ll see you on Wednesday

I know this roster stinks but I have been incredibly underwhelmed by Huska. Team plays like they have no direction or system to speak of. Still trying to figure out what type of team he wants the Flames to be.

I paid hundreds of dollars and drove to Edmonton and back to watch probably the worst team since the 90s.
Gifted two 5 on 3s for over 90 seconds and generated 1 goal and 4 shots. The Oilers scored after one of them.
The only positive was sitting with other Flames fans and cheering when the team got a shot on goal.
Also cheers to Edmontonians who rolled down their car windows to yell “Calgary sucks” or “go back home” while we walked. Your team just got its second win 😂

One of the worst parts about the way these schmucks are playing is that its rewriting last season under Sutter. Sutter absolutely sucked last year and I don’t need the revisionist history telling me how great he was. That said I do think he was right about a few things but he was also just a complete asshole.

Been a fan since I was a kid in the 90’s. Back then, we could at least have some hope that Fleury – and later Iggy – would pull an awesome move.
I watch hockey with my kids, just like my dad did with me. This team has no heroes for my kids to root for.
